Inspired by the Prime Minister's call to engage one lakh youths in policy-making to achieve Viksit Bharat 2047, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is organizing the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue-2026 (VBYLD-2026), a platform for young people aged 15-29 years to articulate innovative ideas on sector-specific themes such as agriculture, skill development, governance, space technology, and more. Building on the success of the inaugural edition launched this year, the second edition of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 (VBYLD 2026) will offer selected young leaders the unique opportunity to present their ideas before the Prime Minister on January 12, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi during the National Youth Festival 2026.

The selection process for VBYLD consists of four stages. The first stage is the Viksit Bharat Quiz, a nationwide online quiz on the My Bharat Portal (mybharat.gov.in), which will be held from 01 September to 15 October 2025. The winners of the quiz will be announced on October 22, 2025.

The top 10% of participants (not exceeding 3 lakhs) selected from the quiz round will proceed to the Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge, which will be held from October 23 to November 5, 2025. The selected participants will then present their ideas in person at the state level from November 24 to December 8, 2025, as part of the Viksit Bharat PPT Challenge.

Finally, the national-level championship, Viksit Bharat Championship, will be held during the National Youth Festival in Delhi from January 10 to 12, 2026.

The Viksit Bharat Quiz is open to all youth aged 15-29 (as of September 1, 2025). The quiz consists of multiple-choice questions and will take only 15 minutes to complete. Every completed attempt will be issued a "Certificate of Participation" (generated)from the Ministry.

All eligible youths are encouraged to participate in the quiz round, share their ideas, showcase leadership, and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. Educational institutions are also urged to promote this opportunity among their students.
