In a collaborative effort, the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bengaluru, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Kudgi, District Administration of Vijayapura, Zilla Panchayat of Vijayapura, Department of Information and Public Relations, District Working Journalists' Association (Regd.), Karnataka Working Editors' Association (Regd.), Karnataka Working Journalists' Voice (Regd.), and Karnataka State Women Editors' Association (Regd.), Vijayapura, are organising a "Vartalap" workshop on centrally sponsored schemes for media representatives. The event will take place on Friday, 26th September, at the Zilla Panchayat Auditorium in Vijayapura.

Dr. M.B. Patil, Honourble Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, as well as the Minister in-charge of Vijayapura District, will be the chief guest. Shri Shivanand S. Patil, Honourable Minister for Textiles, Sugarcane Development and Sugar, and Agricultural Marketing, Government of Karnataka, will be the guest of honour. The event will be presided over by Shri Basanagouda R. Patil (Yatnal), MLA of Vijayapura City. The workshop will be inaugurated by Shri Ramesh C. Jigajinagi, Member of Parliament for Vijayapura, and Smt. Sudha Murty, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.

In the first session of the workshop, Shri Rishi Anand, CEO of the Zilla Panchayat, will speak on the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign. Shri Y.C. Poojari, Assistant Commissioner of CGST, Vijayapura Division, will provide information on 'GST 2.0'. Dr. Sampath Kumar Gunari, District Health Officer, will discuss the 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar' campaign and the implementation of health and family welfare schemes. Shri Shivanagowda S. Patil, Joint Director of the Department of Agriculture, will share information on the 'Implementation of Agricultural and Horticultural Sector Schemes'.

In the second session, Shri Laxman Nimbaragi, Superintendent of Police, will discuss the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam 2023. Shri B. Siddaiah, Manager of Canara Bank and District Lead Bank will speak on the 'Financial Inclusion Saturation Campaign'. Shri K.K. Chauhan, Deputy Director of the Department of Women and Child Development, will share information on the 'Implementation of Women and Child Development Schemes and the Poshan Abhiyan'.
