The valedictory function of Hindi Month 2025 was held at the Central Silk Board, Bengaluru, with great enthusiasm. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Member Secretary Shri P. Sivakumar, IFS along with other dignitaries on the dais. In his presidential address, Shri Sivakumar urged all officers and staff to make maximum use of Hindi in official work, stating that using the official language in government service is our constitutional duty.

On this occasion, Dr. Periyasamy, Director of the Central Sericultural Research & Training Institute, Bengaluru emphasized the need for active contribution to the promotion of Hindi and encouraged its use in the field of research.

Messages from Hon’ble Union Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah, Union Minister of Textiles Shri Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for Textiles Shri Pabitra Margherita, and Secretary (Textiles) were also presented.

Winners of various competitions organized during Hindi Month were felicitated. Joint Secretary (Tech) Dr. Naresh Babu N., IFS and Joint Director (Admin) Shri Rajeev S. Kittur, IRS also shared their views. The programme was anchored by Shri Kamal Kishore Badola, Deputy Director (Rajbhasha), and competition highlights were presented by Smt. Meena S. Kamat, Assistant Director (Rajbhasha).
