The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Regional Office Delhi in co-ordination with ESIC Hospital, Basaidarapur today organized a successful health check-up camp at the Ministry of Labour and Employment as part of the nationwide initiatives 'Swachhta Hi Seva' and 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan'. The camp was aimed at promoting early detection and management of health issues thereby enhancing the overall well-being and productivity, while also maintaining hygiene among employees and their families.

 

The event was graced by the presence of Ms. Vandana Gurnani, Secretary, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Dr. R. Srinivasan, Medical Commissioner along with other dignitaries from medical services and Shri Narendra Mohan Ojha, Regional Director, ESIC Regional Office Delhi.

The health check-up camp commenced with the opening remarks of Ms. Vandana Gurnani, Secretary, Ministry of labour & Employment, who highlighted the ongoing efforts of the Government of India's “Swachhta Hi Seva 2025” initiative. "We are committed to ensuring the well-being of all those who contribute tirelessly to the cleanliness and sanitation of our communities," she said.

The health check-up camp started with medical examination of Safai Mitras of three ministries- Ministry of labour & Employment, Ministry of Power & Ministry of Jal Shakti at Shram Shakti Bhawan.

Shri Narendra Mohan Ojha, Regional Director, ESIC Regional Office Delhi on behalf of ESIC expressed heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Vandana Gurnani, Secretary, Ministry of labour & Employment for allowing ESIC to organise health check-up camp at the Ministry premises.

Dr. Paschal V. D’souza,MS  and other doctors from ESIC Hospital, Basaidarapur specialising in ENT, Gynae, Medicine, Ayurveda, Eye, Dental, Ortho, Physiotherapy, Optometrist and Dietician along with Bone Density Technician, Nursing Officer and Nursing Orderly successfully conducted the health check-up camp.
