The Rajbhasha Samiti of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur, concluded its annual Hindi fest Aahvahan 2025 with the event Abhivyakti on 29th September 2025. The programme featured engaging literary and cultural activities aimed at strengthening the use of Hindi in academic expression.

Competitions such as Smriti Spardha, Patra Lekhan, and Kavita Vaachan drew active participation from faculty members and research scholars. While Smriti Spardha tested memory and recall skills, Patra Lekhan highlighted creative writing ability. The highlight, Kavita Vaachan, captivated the audience with recitations on patriotism, morality, and nostalgia. A slogan writing contest on cleanliness was also held in support of the national campaign on Swachhata (cleanliness).

The week-long fest, held from 22nd to 29th September, included a range of indoor events such as Kavita Vaachan, Chitrakatha Lekhan, and Prashnottari, as well as outdoor activities like Andha Mod, Gatispardha, and Khazaane Ki Khoj.

In his remarks, Head of the Department of Information Technology, Dr. Sudhakar Pandey, praised the growing involvement of students and faculty. Professor In-charge Dr. Sanjay Kumar extended a vote of thanks, appreciating the enthusiastic participation and particularly lauding the diverse poetic expressions that made the event memorable.
