Gandhinagar, Gujarat– September 29, 2025 – Today, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) hosted a significant delegation of almost 15 media personnel from Rajasthan, providing them with an in-depth exploration of the university's multifaceted contributions to teaching, research, education, extension, and consultancy activities. The visit aimed to showcase RRU's commitment to national security and its advancements in various strategic domains.

The media team was led by Shri Dharmesh Bharati, Deputy Director of the Press Information Bureau (PIB), and included other officials from PIB Jaipur and Ahmedabad. During their comprehensive tour, the delegation engaged in interactive sessions with key university leadership, including the Prof. (Dr.) Kalpesh H. Wandra, Pro-Vice Chancellor, RRU; Dr. Jasbirkaur Thadhani, Dean Academics, and Directors of various schools. These discussions highlighted the university's recent activities, notable achievements, groundbreaking innovations, cutting-edge research initiatives, and burgeoning startup ecosystem.

The itinerary included visits to several pivotal centers within the university. The media personnel explored the Centre for Disaster Risk Reduction at the School of Internal Security and Strategic Studies (SISSP), gaining insights into RRU's efforts in disaster preparedness and mitigation. They also toured the Drone Training Center, a testament to the university's focus on emerging technologies and their applications in security. Furthermore, the delegation visited the newly developed firearms gallery at the School of Internal Security and Defence Studies (SISDSS), the Bureau of Criminalistics and Research Excellence (BCORE), and the RRU Atal Incubation Centre (AIC), where they were briefed on new innovations and startup activities fostering entrepreneurial spirit within the security sector. This visit underscores RRU's growing prominence as a hub for national security education, research, and innovation, attracting significant media attention for its impactful contributions.
