FCI Bangalore Hosts 'Waste to Art' Programme

The Food Corporation of India (FCI), Regional Office, Bengaluru, under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, organized a creative and inspiring 'Waste to Art' Program as part of the Special Campaign 5.0. The event, held under the leadership of Shri B.O. Maheshwarappa, General Manager (KTK), aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through the innovative reuse of  WASTE MATERIALS.

Various exhibits were displayed, showcasing innovative crafts made from discarded bottles, tires, paper, fabric, and other recyclable items. The event reflected the collective commitment of FCI staff toward sustainability and the principles of reuse and recycling.

The program successfully highlighted how creativity can transform waste into art while spreading the message of ‘Cleanliness, Creativity, and Conservation.’
