Union Minister of State for Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, inaugurated the 17th Rozgar Mela organized by the Department of Posts in Bengaluru today.

Speaking at the inaugural session, the Union Minister stated that the newly recruited employees should work not just for salary, but for the development while also preserving the integrity of the nation. They should not see this merely as a job, but as a task of nation-building. She emphasized that they should demonstrate honesty in their work and strive to be excellent employees and the work done by the them should contribute to Viksit Bharat 2047. She also added that 'Viksit Bharat' is not merely a slogan; everyone's contribution is essential for it to be realized.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the event virtually. Following this, Union Minister Sushri Shobha Karandlaje distributed appointment letters to 25 employees recruited to various Ministries/Departments. New recruits Kumari Garima Singh and Shri Pawan Kumar praised the concept of the Rozgar Mela and expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Union Government for providing them with employment opportunities.
