A special camp focusing on Unclaimed Deposit (DEAF) accounts was organized today at the Bankers Bhavan in Hubballi. The event was conducted by the Lead Bank, Dharwad, strictly following the guidelines issued by the Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

The camp saw the participation of coordinators from various banks and LIC, who were present to assist and provide the necessary information to facilitate the claim process for eligible beneficiaries of these unclaimed funds.

Basavaraj Gadadavar, the Lead District Manager, announced that this special recovery campaign is not a one-day event. "The initiative to help claimants recover their deposits will continue until December 31, 2025," he stated. He encouraged claimants who were unable to attend the camp to directly visit their respective bank branches with the required documents to claim their deposits, ensuring that the facility remains accessible to all eligible citizens.
