                ICMR-NIOH under the aegis of Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India in collaboration with Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India arranged a curtain raiser a programme on 29th October 2025 for Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC-2025).

The ESTIC-2025 is to be held from 03rd to 05th November 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, which is being arranged under office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to Govt. of India and Department of Science & Technology (DST) in collaboration with multiple ministries.  The event will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi under the theme “Imagine, Innovate, Inspire for Viksit Bharat 2047”.
The curtain raiser at ICMR-NIOH highlighted thematic area “Health and Medical Technologies“ showing India’s growing strength in health research, innovation, and traditional medicine., which is jointly held by ICMR and AYUSH.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address and introduction to the theme by Dr. Bhavesh Modi, Director, ICMR–NIOH, Ahmedabad.
During the event Dr Bhavesh Modi, Director, ICMR-NIOH showcased promoting Institute’s activities in the healthcare innovation, medical technology and interactive research under the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Dr. Bhavesh Modi described the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC-2025) not merely as a platform for discussions, but as a dynamic forum for “Discussion to Delivery,” which will contribute to realizing the vision of a Developed India by 2047.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Panda, Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, introduced the Ayush perspective, followed by an address by Dr. Krushna Sahoo from the Department of Health Research (DHR).
The event was attended by scientists and technical officers from ICMR–NIOH and CCRAS, along with representatives from local media.
