NTPC Kudgi observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on 31st October 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

The event commenced with the administration of the Unity Pledge, reaffirming the commitment of employees towards strengthening the nation’s unity, integrity, and security. Shri Santosh Tiwari, General Manager (O&M), administered the Hindi Pledge, while Shri Agam Prakash Tiwari, General Manager (Operation & FM), led the English Pledge.

During the programme, Shri Santosh Tiwari, GM (O&M), highlighted the significance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and paid rich tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for his monumental role in uniting 562 princely states into one sovereign nation. He emphasized that Sardar Patel’s vision and leadership laid the strong foundation of a united and integrated India, which continues to inspire generations.

All Heads of Departments and employees from various departments participated in the ceremony with fervour and a strong sense of national pride. The occasion served as a reminder of Sardar Patel’s vision of a united India and underscored NTPC’s unwavering dedication to upholding values of togetherness, integrity, and inclusivity. The celebration at NTPC Kudgi reflected the organization’s continued commitment to nation-building through unity of purpose and collective resolve.
