Department of Posts, Southern Region, Madurai announced that the resumption of ATM services at seventeen Post Offices in Madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Kanniyakumari, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Virudhunagar

Postal Divisions. After Installation of new Upgraded ATM Machines, the ATM facilities are now fully operational, providing customers with improved, reliable, and secure banking services.

Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) account holders can now withdraw cash, check balances and avail other essential banking services at Post Office ATMs. The restoration of ATM Services will ensure seamless service delivery to customers where Post Offices serve as vital financial access points.

With 24x7 Availability of ATM Sites, Customers can perform banking transactions anytime, anywhere, without being restricted to Post Office working hours. This facility provides convenience to people, who may not be able to visit during regular office hours.

With Interoperable functionality, India Post ATMs support transactions for cards of other banks. Similarly, India Post ATM cards can be used at ATMs of other banks, giving customers flexibility and wider reach.

All customers are requested to make use of these newly launched ATM services for their everyday banking needs.
