At the award ceremony of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), legendary actor Rajinikanth emerged as the highlight of the evening as he was honored for his 50 remarkable years in cinema. The ceremony also witnessed the presentation of the prestigious Golden and Silver Peacock awards to outstanding films, along with special awards for outstanding films. The closing event celebrated cinematic excellence while paying tribute to the contributions of leading figures from the film fraternity.
