: New Dellhi/Mumbai, December 12, 2025

Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, will be on an official visit to Maharashtra and Karnataka on 13 and 14 December, 2025. The two-day visit will focus on reviewing key initiatives of the Department of Posts, engaging with local communities and visiting important cultural and historical sites. During the visit, the Union Minister will also unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Belagavi.

On 13th December, 2025, the Union Minister will attend the Stamp Release Function at Bombay Gymkhana as the Chief Guest. Following the programme, he will depart for Kolhapur. Shri Scindia will address the Gramin Dak Sammelan in Kolhapur and interact with the Gramin Dak Sevaks of the Maharashtra Circle. He will also visit the Jyotiba Temple and the Mahalakshmi Temple in Kolhapur.

On the second day of the visit (14th December, 2025), the Union Minister will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Belagavi. The event will be an occasion of special significance for local residents and is expected to witness broad public participation.
