PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sabarmati celebrated the 63rd Foundation Day of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan with great enthusiasm and reverence. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan was established in the year 1963, and this occasion marked its 63 glorious years of service in the field of education.

The event began with a divine morning assembly. Students melodiously sang the Kendriya Vidyalaya song, creating a harmonious and inspiring atmosphere. The programme was anchored gracefully by Mrs. Yogita Sharma PGT English along with students of the higher secondary classes.

The Principal of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sabarmati, Mr. Deepak Singh Bhati, extended a warm green welcome to the Chief Guest, Mr. Lohit  DME/DSL/SBI, along with former teachers and alumni of the school.

The cultural programme commenced with a welcome solo dance by a Bal Vatika student, followed by a speech delivered by a secondary class student. A delightful group dance by Bal Vatika students mesmerized the audience.

Mr. Ashish Joshi TGT Maths delivered a motivational speech, inspiring students to strive for excellence. This was followed by a vibrant Gujarati dance performed by secondary students.

Ms. Nandini Bhargav, alumna and Assistant Commissioner of State GST, addressed the gathering and shared her journey, motivating the students. Dr. Pramod Bundela, former teacher, also shared his experiences, making teachers and students nostalgic.

The merit certificate distribution ceremony was conducted to honor the outstanding achievements of Class X toppers — Chhaya and Shweta.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Lohit, praised the efforts of the school and described the event as a wonderful celebration. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Head Master Inderjeet Sir.

The Foundation Day celebration was a grand success and left a lasting impression on everyone present, strengthening the bond between the institution, its students, teachers, and alumni.
