Hon’ble President of India announces Udyan Utsav – Second Edition at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad

The Hon’ble President of India opened up the Second Edition of Udyan Utsav today at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Hyderabad. The nine-day Agriculture and Horticulture Festival celebrating India’s green traditions, sustainable practices, and community engagement will be opened up to visitors on January 3, 2026.

The festival is being organised in continuation of the first edition of Udyan Utsav held in January 2025, which witnessed an overwhelming public response, with over 1.3 lakh visitors attending the event over 12 days. Building on the success of the inaugural edition, Udyan Utsav – 2026 aims to further strengthen public awareness around sustainable agriculture, horticulture, and environmentally responsible lifestyles.

Udyan Utsav – Second Edition will be held from January 3 to January 11, 2026, at the Main Lawns of Rashtrapati Nilayam, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with last entry at 7:00 PM. Entry to the festival is free for all visitors, and access will be through Gate No. 2.
The festival is being organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, with MANAGE (National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management) as a key knowledge partner.

Highlights of Udyan Utsav 2026
The festival features a wide range of floral and non-floral attractions, including enhanced seasonal flower beds, curated floral installations, selfie points, and upgraded garden spaces. Visitors can also explore agriculture and horticulture thematic stalls, live demonstrations, eco-craft workshops, and interactive knowledge zones.
Major attractions include:
- Agri-horticulture thematic stalls showcasing organic produce, GI-tagged products, FPOs, and agri-startups
- Workshops & demonstrations on natural farming, medicinal plants, nursery mgmt., and sustainable practices
- Youth engagement activities, quizzes, and hands-on learning experiences
- A curated food court offering millet-based and herbal food products
- Cultural performances reflecting India’s regional traditions and its close relationship with nature
Visitor Facilities
Comprehensive arrangements have been made at Rashtrapati Nilayam to ensure a safe and comfortable visitor experience, including security management, sanitation services, drinking water stations, first-aid facilities, electric carts, and daily maintenance of the Udyan premises throughout the festival period.
The Hon’ble President of India invites citizens to visit Rashtrapati Nilayam and experience the rich confluence of nature, agriculture, and culture during Udyan Utsav 2026.
