A new Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendra was officially inaugurated on 01 January 2026 at CRPF Group Center, Avadi.

The center was inaugurated by Shri Rajeev Ranjan, DIGP, Group Center CRPF, Avadi. During the ceremony, Shri Ranjan highlighted the vital role of the Janaushadhi Pariyojana in reducing the financial burden of healthcare on families. He commended the initiative for bringing high-quality generic medicines to the CRPF personnel and their families.

It is a significant move toward making quality healthcare accessible and affordable for the uniformed personnel and the local community.
