Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue to be held from January 9-12, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi

Shri Ashok Kumar Dash, Joint Director, My Bharat Karnataka, addressed a press conference today at the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Bengaluru regarding the ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue’ and the National Youth Festival, which will be held from January 9-12, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Shri S.G. Raveendra, Additional Director General, PIB Bengaluru presided over the press conference.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India is organizing the second edition of the reimagined National Youth Festival titled 'Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026' on the occasion of National Youth Day. This ambitious journey began with a national-level quiz conducted on the MY Bharat platform, in which more than 50 lakh youth across the country participated. Among them, 2.5 lakh candidates were shortlisted and invited to submit essays under ten core themes of Viksit Bharat. Out of these shortlisted candidates, 15,000 participants were selected for the state-level presentation round.

Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from January 9 to 12, 2026, and Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the valedictory ceremony of this program. A total of 83 people from Karnataka will participate in this program, including 45 in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, 30 in cultural competitions, 3 in innovation competition, and 5 officials/escorts.
