The department of Posts is participating in the 49 th Edition of the Chennai Book Fair, being held at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam from 8 th January 2026 to 21 st January, 2026.

The Department has arranged parcel packing and booking services to facilitate the dispatch of books and other items purchased at the fair. Materials required for parcel packing are also made available for the convenience of visitors. A My Stamp Counter has been set up to enable visitors to obtain personalized sheets of postage stamps of India Post. In addition, two Aadhaar service counters have been provided at the venue for offering Aadhaar enrolment and updation services to the public. Visitors to the Chennai Book Fair may avail themselves of the above services during the fair period.
