The Recruit Training Centre (RTC) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Avadi, Tiruvallur District, conducted the Passing Out Parade for 1,384 recruits of Batch No. 434 today. Shri Gyanendra Pratap Singh, IPS, Director General, CRPF, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest, where he reviewed the parade and took the salute. The event was attended by senior officers including Shri Deepak Kumar, IPS, SDG (Trg), Shri Ravideep Singh Sahi, ADG (South Zone), Shri T. Vikram, IPS, IG (South Sector), and Shri Sandeep Datta, IG (Trg), alongside representatives from the Local Administration and the Armed Forces.

In his address, the Director General commended the recruits for successfully completing their training and noted that the CRPF is entrusted with the vital responsibility of maintaining internal security. He emphasized that the recruits represent the diverse character of the nation, uniting different languages, religions, and customs under a single identity of service to the motherland.

 

Shri M.J. Vijay, DIG/Principal of RTC Avadi, briefed the Chief Guest on the comprehensive training curriculum, which included Physical Training, BOAC, Counter-Insurgency operations, Jungle Survival, Battle-Craft, and Human Rights. The ceremony featured demonstrations of professional skills including Malkhamb, Silambam, Unarmed Combat, Combat Tactics, Yoga, and Rope Work.

The Director General presented awards to the top performers of the batch for their excellence in various training disciplines. CT/BUG Khare Vishal Kaliram was adjudged the All Round Best recruit for his outstanding performance throughout the training period. The parade was commanded by Shri B.V. Singh Jodha, Assistant Commandant, and the proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri Pawan Kumar Tiwari, Commandant/Chief Training Officer. These newly inducted personnel will now be deployed to various operational theaters across the country.
