India Post delivers the Invitations issued by Her Excellency the President of India to distinguished guests for attending the prestigious 'Republic Day At Home – 2026' reception, scheduled to be held on 26 January 2026 at the Cultural Centre, Rashtrapati Bhavan.

An invitation has been sent from the office of Her Excellency President of India to Dr. G. Natchiar, Director, Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, to participate in this event, representing the Tamil Nadu Southern Postal Region.

The invitation was personally handed over to Dr. G. Natchiar, Director, Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai by Shri S. Jai Ganesh, Marketing Executive, Southern Postal Region, along with postal staff. Dr. G. Natchiar, Director, Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai expressed that receiving this special invitation has given her immense pride and happiness. She further stated that the invitation is a matter of great honour not only to her but also to the entire administrative team associated with her institution.

She added that the invitation is very unique, as it showcases handicrafts created by people from villages and towns across all states of the country. These have been beautifully displayed as wall-hanging decorations, which greatly honours the artisans and brings immense joy.

Natchiar conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to the Department of Posts for their dedicated service, to the postal employees, and to the Central Government for this prestigious honour.
