The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal organized a grand three-day celebration of National Youth Day from January 10 to January 12, 2026. The event aimed to promote leadership qualities, physical and mental well-being, social awareness, and a sense of nation-building among the youth. The programme was jointly organized by the Yuva Bharat Club, the Counselling Cell, and the Sports Office, IISER Bhopal.
       On the first day, a morning yoga session was conducted, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, research scholars, and institute staff. The yoga session encouraged a healthy lifestyle and mental balance among the youth. This was followed by a speech competition, where participants shared their views on youth empowerment, the role of young people in nation-building, and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. As part of the sports activities, a football tournament was organized with the support of the Sports Office. Various teams participated with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The matches showcased discipline, teamwork, and competitive spirit, promoting physical fitness and sports culture among the youth.

       On the third and final day, the Youth Solution Assembly was held, during which students presented innovative solutions to social, environmental, and educational challenges. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where winners of various competitions and sports events were felicitated.

The three-day National Youth Day celebration witnessed active participation and high enthusiasm from students. The event successfully inspired young minds to adopt the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and contribute positively to the nation’s development.
