All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur is pleased to announce that Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi, vide separate gazette notifications dated 30.12.2025, have nominated Dr. Eli Mohapatra, Prof. & Head (Bio-chemistry) & Dean(Academics), AIIMS Raipur as Member of the Institute Body of AIIMS Guwahati and Dr. Nighat Hussain, Professor, Department of Pathology & Associate Dean (Academics), AIIMS Raipur as Member of the Institute Body of AIIMS Patna.

The Institute Body is the statutory body responsible for the overall regulation, management, and strategic direction of the institute, focusing on medical education, research, patient care, and establishing policies, working with specialized committees like the Governing Body (GB) and Finance Committee for specific functions like academic standards, finances, and selections. The nomination of Dr. Mohapatra and Dr. Hussain to this prestigious body is a recognition of their academic leadership, administrative acumen, and significant contributions to medical education and institutional development.

It is matter of great pride as this achievement reflects the growing national recognition of the AIIMS Raipur faculty and their expertise.
