Padma Awards Celebrate Kerala’s pride by recognising Distinguished Personalities: Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah

Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah stated today, in a post on 'X' that the Padma Awards this year reflects the pride of Kerala by honouring illustrious personalities who have made lasting contributions across diverse fields.
 
For outstanding contributions in the field of public affairs, Justice K. T. Thomas has been conferred the Padma Vibhushan. Shri P. Narayan has been honoured with the Padma Vibhushan for his contributions to literature and education. Shri V. S. Achuthanandan has been awarded the Padma Vibhushan posthumously for his exemplary service in public life.
 
In recognition of their contributions to the arts and public affairs, Shri Mammootty and Shri Vellappally Natesan have been conferred the Padma Bhushan.
 
In the fields of science and engineering, arts, and social work, Shri A. E. Muthunayagam, Ms. Kalamandalam Vimala Menon, and Ms. Kollaikal Devaki Amma G. have been honoured with the Padma Shri.
 
Shri Amit Shah stated that the exemplary contributions of these distinguished awardees will pave the way for others on a path of inspiration.
