Status of Approved, Completed, and Ongoing Projects under PMKSY

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) is implementing a Central Sector Umbrella scheme “Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY)”. As on 31.12.2025, 1607 number of projects are approved under various component schemes of PMKSY. Out of which, 1196 projects have been completed/operationalised and remaining 411 projects are at various stages of implementation.
Delay in project implementation is due to various factors, such as the non-receipt of statutory clearances from the respective Agencies (including the Revenue Authority, Town Planning, Electricity Authority, Water Authority, Pollution Control Board, Licensing Authority, etc.). This delays the release of grants, as funds are disbursed only upon submission of the required documents by the implementing agencies after fulfilling all criteria prescribed in the respective guidelines of the concerned component scheme under PMKSY.
State-wise and year-wise details of projects approved and completed under PMKSY for last five years are at Annexure-1.
Component-wise fund utilisation of the ₹ 6,520 crore allocation under the 15th Finance Commission cycle, including utilisation of the additional ₹ 1, 920 crore under PMKSY upto 16.01.2026 is at Annexure-2.
PMKSY is a Central Sector demand driven scheme. Under the scheme, applications are invited from eligible organisations/ entities through Expression of Interest (EoI) from all over the country. Funds are not allocated/sanctioned/released State-wise under any of the component schemes of PMKSY. The proposals received are scrutinized and evaluated for their eligibility based on the criteria prescribed in the respective guidelines of the component scheme under PMKSY. Merit based approvals are given to the eligible proposals based on availability of funds.
