Hon’ble PM transfers ₹18,640 crore to 9.32 crore farmers

- Total amount disbursed under PM KISAN surpasses ₹4.09 lakh crore

- Live screenings held at 10 locations in Telangana

 

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today transferred the 22nd instalment of the PM KISAN SAMMAN NIDHI. A total of more than ₹18,640 crore was disbursed directly into the bank accounts of over 9.32 crore farmers across the nation.

With this latest instalment, the total amount transferred directly to farmers under this scheme has surpassed ₹4.09 lakh crore, reinforcing the government's commitment to the financial security of the farming community.

Localized Awareness and Screenings

To ensure the farming community in Telangana remained informed and connected to this national event, Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL), under the direction of the Manager Marketing (Telangana State), organized live-streaming sessions across 10 key locations in the region.

The primary event at Rythu Vedika, Miryalaguda, was attended by key officials from the Department of Agriculture, Telangana State, including:

Md Shafi, Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO)

KM Afrin, M Ramesh, D. Jyothi, S. Gopi, and K. Ramesh (AEOs)

Shri Mudireddy Narsireddy, Former Councillor

Local farmers, including Shri Jonnalagadda Mohan Reddy, Shri Vijay, and Shri Kappala Shankar, participated in the event, expressing their appreciation for the direct financial support provided by the PM KISAN scheme.

The national event was broadcast live from the Jyoti-Bishnu International Cultural Center in Guwahati, Assam, where the Prime Minister addressed the nation on the future of sustainable and technology-driven agriculture.
