Rashtriya Raksha University Concludes Day 2 of Defence Attachés conference with Defence Exhibition and Strategic Collaborations

marking a significant culmination of the two-day international event aimed at strengthening defence cooperation, innovation, and global partnerships. The second day commenced with the welcoming of Defence Attachés, followed by a presentation highlighting the University’s academic excellence, research capabilities, and its growing role in international cooperation and strategic studies.

A key highlight of the day was the session by the Army Design Bureau, delivered by Major General C.S. Mann, VSM, ADG, Army Design Bureau, on “Indigenous Defence Innovation: Army Design Bureau’s Collaborative Pathways for Global Technology Partnerships.” The session emphasized India’s commitment to self-reliance in defence manufacturing and the importance of collaborative innovation in building globally competitive defence technologies.

The Defence Expo witnessed the participation of 23 prominent defence and technology companies, reflecting the breadth of India’s rapidly evolving defence industrial ecosystem. Key participants included Munitions India Ltd, a leading public sector enterprise in ammunition manufacturing; Larsen & Toubro (L&T Defence), a major player in defence engineering and heavy systems, Zen Technologies Ltd known for advanced defence training simulators and anti-drone technologies and SMPP Ltd, a global leader in ballistic protection solutions. Innovative firms such as Tonbo Imaging India Pvt. Ltd. showcased cutting-edge imaging and night-vision systems, while Tecknotrove Systems Pvt. Ltd. presented simulation-based training technologies. Companies like Dronelab Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Secumatic Technologies LLP, and Mobisec Technologies Pvt. Ltd. highlighted advancements in UAVs, surveillance, and cybersecurity solutions. Industrial contributors including Aegis Advanced Coatings LLP, MD Metalline Industries, and Zenfin Industries LLP demonstrated expertise in advanced materials and manufacturing, while Asim Navigation India Pvt. Ltd. and Vetaal Defence Pvt. Ltd. represented specialized defence and navigation technologies. Additionally, organizations such as MG Seating Systems Pvt. Ltd., Siddhi Group, CINT Pvt. Ltd., ESEC Security Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Avirahtech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Amrut Defence, and RRV Defence Pvt. Ltd. showcased diverse capabilities spanning defence systems, consultancy, engineering solutions, and security services. The participation of Tricog Health India Pvt. Ltd. further highlighted the growing role of healthcare technologies in defence preparedness. Collectively, these companies demonstrated India’s strong push towards indigenous innovation, self-reliance, and global competitiveness in defence manufacturing and technology.

Defence Attachés engaged directly with industry representatives during the expo visit, fostering dialogue, collaboration, and potential partnerships. This was followed by laboratory visits across RRU’s state-of-the-art facilities, offering delegates insights into the University’s cutting-edge research infrastructure and training ecosystem.
The day also featured live demonstrations by participating companies, enabling practical understanding of emerging technologies and their operational applications in modern defence systems.
The event concluded with a Closing Ceremony, marking the successful completion of the two-day engagement that brought together policymakers, defence experts, industry leaders, and international representatives on a common platform.
The Defence Attachés engagement reinforced the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, emphasizing innovation, industry-academia collaboration, and global defence partnerships. The event stands as a testament to India’s evolving role as a key player in the global defence and security landscape.
