The Department of Posts, Maharashtra Circle, hosted an exclusive Customer Meet on 27 March 2026 to promote its newly launched suite of premium time-bound delivery services. Held under the leadership of Chief Postmaster General (CPMG), Maharashtra Circle, Shri Amitabh Singh, the event focused on the “24 Speed Post”, “24 Speed Post Parcel”, and “48 Speed Post” services introduced earlier this month on March 17.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Director of Postal Services (HQ), Ms. Simran Kaur, who emphasised that active customer engagement and feedback are the cornerstones of India Post’s mission to ensure excellence in service delivery.

In his keynote address, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Shri Amitabh Singh elaborated on the vision behind these premium offerings, stating that they are designed to meet the rising demand for secure, high-speed logistics in the business and e-commerce sectors. The featured services include 24 Speed Post, which ensures delivery of documents within 24 hours in select sectors; 24 Speed Post Parcel, which provides fast and reliable parcel delivery within 24 hours; and 48 Speed Post, which offers assured delivery within 48 hours across a wider network.

He further stated that these services aim to address the growing demand for time-bound, secure, and efficient logistics solutions, particularly for businesses, e-commerce stakeholders, and government users.

During the event, a live demonstration of delivery under the 24 Speed Post service was showcased. The programme also featured cultural and instrumental performances along with a stand-up comedy segment. The event was hosted by RJ Vaishali.

The event was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Minister, Government of Maharashtra, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, along with senior officials, esteemed customers, and Managing Directors and CEOs of various corporations. Consuls General from several countries were also present on the occasion.
