The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has released the 35th edition of the National e-Governance Service Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) Way Forward Monthly Report. The report reveals a significant leap in digital governance, with the total number of e-services provided across all States and Union Territories reaching a milestone of 25,209. A substantial portion of these services, totaling 9,093, pertains to the Local Governance & Utility Services sector, reflecting a strong emphasis on grassroots digital empowerment. Since the previous report, 47 new e-services have been added and the country has achieved an overall saturation of over 81% for the 2124 mandatory e-services identified by the framework.

A primary highlight of the report is the exceptional performance of 14 States and Union Territories that have achieved 100% saturation of the 59 mandatory e-services. These include Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra. Additionally, eight other regions, including Jammu & Kashmir and West Bengal, have achieved over 90% saturation. This progress is facilitated by high-performing Unified Service Delivery Portals such as Seva Sindhu (Karnataka), Sewa Setu (Assam), and e-UNNAT (J&K), which have become benchmarks for seamless, one-stop service delivery.

The report also identifies institutional excellence at both the central and municipal levels. The official websites of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and the Ministry of Home Affairs have been highlighted as best practices for central-level e-governance. At the city level, the report showcases how digital platforms in Bhubaneswar and Chandigarh are transforming urban service delivery by streamlining citizen interactions with municipal bodies. Through the AAKLAN benchmarking and ranking tool, DARPG continues to provide analytical insights to help States prioritize the saturation of mandatory services and strengthen their single unified delivery portals to ensure every citizen has equitable access to digital governance.
