The Coimbatore Central GST Commissionerate has shifted its GST Suvidha Kendra  which has been functioning at GST Bhawan, ATD Road, Race Course, Coimbatore, to a new premises at 1667, Ground Floor, Aadithyaa Towers, Trichy Road, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore. Additionally, a new GST Seva Kendra has been established at the same location to supplement the existing facility at GST Bhawan, ATD Road, Race Course, Coimbatore. Both facilities were inaugurated by Shri Dinesh P. Pangarkar, Principal Commissioner of GST & Central Excise, Coimbatore Commissionerate, on 6th May 2026, aimed at providing improved services and convenience to taxpayers.

The GST Suvidha Kendra primarily facilitates biometric authentication and document verification for new applicants. To ensure authenticity and prevent fraudulent registrations, the process includes capturing fingerprints, iris scans, and photographs. The Kendra ensures systematic processing and reduced waiting times by providing appointment slots through the Suvidha Portal, thereby expediting the issuance of GSTINs.

Complementing this, the GST Seva Kendra serves as a dedicated facilitation center for smooth compliance with the GST regime. It acts as a one-stop support hub, offering guidance on registration, return filing, tax payments, Input Tax Credit (ITC), and refunds. The center also assists taxpayers in navigating the GST portal, resolving technical issues, and addressing grievances in coordination with the GST administration.
