The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will celebrate its 12th Convocation for Nursing and Allied Health Science courses on 14th May 2026. The ceremony is scheduled to commence at 10:00 AM at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium within the JIPMER campus. The convocation will confer degrees upon students from various programs, including MSc (Nursing), MSc (AHS), M.P.H, BSc (Nursing), and BSc (AHS).

Ms. Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sharat Chauhan, Chief Secretary, Government of Puducherry, will attend as the Guest of Honour. The proceedings will be presided over by the President of JIPMER. During the event, Dr. Vir Singh Negi, Director, JIPMER, will present the Institute Report, which will highlight the institution’s significant milestones and achievements in the fields of medical education, patient care, and research.

A total of 320 students will be awarded their degrees during this convocation. In recognition of academic excellence, medals and endowment prizes will be presented to 24 meritorious students who secured the highest marks in their respective subjects.
