In response to certain recent media reports concerning the non-availability of petrol and diesel in select outlets of Odisha, this is to confirm that adequate stocks of petrol and diesel are available at its retail outlets across the State and that the overall supply position remains normal and stable.

OMCs has responded swiftly by initiating coordinated replenishment measures at the retail outlets concerned to restore normalcy at the earliest. Live monitoring of inventory levels is being actively undertaken, with priority allocation being extended to outlets reporting depleted stock positions.

OMCs further advises its bulk consumers to procure their fuel requirements directly from their respective OMCs, rather than through retail outlets, as petrol stations are not authorized to undertake bulk dispensing of petroleum products.

Indian Oil reaffirms that sufficient stocks of petrol and diesel are being maintained at all its supply locations and retail outlets across Odisha.

Indian Oil reassures the public that there is no cause for concern and earnestly appeals to consumers to refrain from panic buying. Citizens are also requested to rely solely on official communications from Indian Oil for accurate and verified information regarding fuel availability.
