HNLU Signs MoU With National Chi Nan University Of Taiwan To Foster Academic And Research Cooperation

Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur has entered into a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Chi Nan University (NCNU) of Taiwan. This significant milestone aims to strengthen academic exchanges and research cooperation between the two premier institutions. The agreement was executed and signed at the NCNU campus in Taiwan, marking a pivotal moment in cross-border educational partnerships.

Speaking on the historic occasion, Prof. Vivekanandan, Vice Chancellor of HNLU, stated that the MoU would effectively facilitate robust collaboration between the two institutions across diverse interdisciplinary areas. He further emphasized that this joint partnership would play a significant role in strengthening the overarching academic and bilateral relations between India and Taiwan.
Expressing his pleasure on the collaboration, Dr. Dong-sing Wuu, President of the National Chi Nan University, highlighted the unique synergy of the agreement. As an electrical engineer by background, Dr. Wuu expressed his deep happiness at signing an academic accord with a prestigious National Law University of India, voicing his optimism that the partnership would lead to greater cooperation specifically in fields and disciplines interfacing law with modern technology.
The newly established institutional framework seeks to systematically facilitate collaborative research initiatives alongside continuous academic exchange programs. It also outlines institutional cooperation to drive joint conferences, seminars, and specialized technical workshops. Furthermore, the agreement ensures the structural development of faculty and student mobility programmes, cross-border academic partnerships, and robust avenues for comparative research.
This international alliance marks another progressive step in HNLU’s ongoing institutional efforts to comprehensively expand its global academic footprint. Through this collaboration, the university continues to construct meaningful international partnerships that are directly aligned with contemporary research dynamics and global educational priorities.
