As part of the World Bicycle Day, Sports Authority of India Regional Centre Trivandrum, through SAI STC Chennai Conducted Cycle Rally and Fit India Empowerment Felicitation Programme, Organized in different venue in  collaboration with Food Corporation of India, 77 NB CRPF - (Central Reserve Police Force), Air Force Avadi,  National Disaster Response Force.

  

   

FERN - (Fit India Empowerment Renewable & Non - Polluting Mobility) Certificate of Recognition under silver category awarded to Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore.    The award received by Dr.K. Kamalakanna Director and Head, Sports Science & Physical Education of this college from Mr. Rajesh Singh CGM(S), Food Corporation of India at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai.

The World Bicycle Day Conducted with the participation of around 530 Participants, including officials. The event was formally inaugurated with a flag hosting and flag-off ceremony by Shri. Rajesh Singh CGM (S), Food Corporation of India at ICF. 

Shri. Devender Singh DGM (P), FCI, Shri. Sanjiv Kumar DGM, FCI, Shri. Gagan Mishra, DGM, FCI, Shri. Deepak Kumar, Inspector/GD, NDRF, Shri. Nithiyanantham Assistant Commissioner, 77 NB CRPF, Shri. Kuldeep Singh, Inspector, LHB, ICF, Shri. Rajni Nair, Inspector Shell ICF, Shri. Kunal Juneja, Deputy Commandant, Shri. Kiran Ayyar Assistant Director, ESIC were graced the occasion.

The celebration reinforced the message of the Fit India Movement, promoting cycling as a sustainable, non-polluting, and health-enhancing mode of mobility while encouraging greater public participation in fitness-oriented initiatives.
