National Academy of Direct Taxes, Regional Campus Mumbai and RTC Pune Sign MoU for Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing

The National Academy of Direct Taxes, Regional Campus, Mumbai (NADT-RC Mumbai) and the Controller of Defence Accounts (Training) & Regional Training Centre, Pune (RTC Pune) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at Pune to establish a structured framework for institutional collaboration in the areas of training, capacity building, research, and knowledge sharing.

The MoU was signed by Shri Navneet Manohar, Principal Additional Director General, NADT-RC Mumbai, and Shri Ande Poshetty, IDAS, Controller of Defence Accounts & Director, National Academy of Defence Financial Management (NADFM), in the presence of senior officers from both institutions.

The collaboration aims to promote mutual learning and professional development through a range of initiatives, including joint training programmes, seminars, workshops, faculty exchanges, collaborative research activities, and sharing of infrastructure and knowledge resources. The partnership will also facilitate the development of specialized training modules and certification programmes designed to strengthen competencies in public financial management, fiscal governance, audit practices, e-governance, and other areas of common interest.

Speaking on the occasion, the representatives of both institutions emphasized the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in enhancing the quality of training and fostering innovation in public administration. The partnership is expected to create opportunities for cross-sectoral learning and exchange of best practices among government officers.

The MoU reflects the shared commitment of NADT-RC Mumbai and RTC Pune towards strengthening institutional capacities and advancing excellence in public service delivery. By leveraging their respective expertise, experience, and training ecosystems, the two institutions seek to contribute to the development of a skilled, informed, and future-ready civil service.

The agreement will remain in force for a period of five years and will serve as a platform for sustained collaborative initiatives aimed at promoting excellence in public administration, financial governance, and capacity development.
