Sh.  M Rajamurugan, IPS (TR:1996) Hon’ble Managing Director, TRIFED extends a gracious invitation to you for the grand inaugural spectacle of “Aadi Mahotsav.” This splendid event is scheduled for Monday, 29^th of June ,2026 commencing at 04:00 P.M. at the idyllic Ahmedabad Haat, nestled in the heart of Vastrapur, Ahmedabad.

Aadi Mahotsav is brought to life by the benevolent auspices of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, and the TRIBAL CO-OPERATIVE MARKETING DEVELOPMENT FEDERATION OF INDIA LTD. (TRIFED). TRIFED Gujarat invites you on the occasion to visit the Mahotsav with all family and friends during 29.06.2026 to 08.07.2026.

Elevating the essence of this event, over 100 enchanting stalls will serve as a portal to explore the kaleidoscope of India’s tribal culture, craftsmanship, culinary artistry, and economic endeavors. Aadi Mahotsav serves as a unique, symbiotic bridge that invites you to embark on a journey through the tapestry of India’s indigenous heritage, fostering an unforgettable experience.

The Mahotsav will be presenting Mini  India under one platform namely TRIBES INDIA, having broad range of tribal products state wise like Pashmina shawls, stoles  and woolen items of Jammu & Kashmir and  Uttrakhand,   Wooden gift  items from UP, Silk Sarres from Assam, Black pottery items from Manipur,Grass  jewelry from Uttrakhand, Saora Paintings from Odhisha, Maheshwary  and Chanderi Silk Sarees from Madhya Pradesh,  Metal statues from Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh, Forest products like, Honey, Cashew, spices from Andhra Pradesh & Kerala,  Warli Paintings from Maharashtra, Colorful hangings and Bamboo furniture from Gujarat, Meenakari Work and Textile & paintings from Rajasthan. Food stalls are being also arranged to provide different type of Tribal foods for the visitors.

During the Mahotsav Cultural programs is also scheduled on the stage of Ahmedabad Haat from 06 PM to 08. PM.
