The case, investigated by the NCB Ahmedabad Zonal Unit, involved the illegal transportation of narcotics from Odissa to Gujarat.
Based on specific and reliable intelligence NCB officers intercepted three persons at Krishna Industry, Kim, Surat. The interception led to the seizure of 562.55 Kgs Ganja on 04 and 05/05/2020. The seized narcotics were found from the conscious possession of the accused.

After a detailed trial before the Hon'ble Court of the 11th Additional District Judge at Surat City, the court delivered its judgment on 02 July 2026.
