A Regional Service Pension Aayojan (RPSA) dedicated to the resolution of pension related grievances of Armed Forces veterans was jointly organised by the Indian Army and the Controller general of Defence Accounts at Rail Sadan, Headquarters of the East Coast Railway in Bhubaneswar on 10 July, 2026. 

The event was marked by the presence of General Officer Commanding – in – Chief (GOC-in-C), Central Command Lt. General Anindya Sengupta and the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA). Various senior officials from the Indian Army & CGDA were also present during the event. Their presence highlighted the continued commitment of the Defence Forces and Defence Accounts Organisation towards the Welfare of veterans and efficient resolution of pension related issues. 

During the proceedings, a large number of pension grievances of Defence Forces veterans were taken up for review. Officials from the Indian Army and the Defence Accounts department worked in close coordination to facilitate on the spot resolution of cases wherever possible. Emphasis was placed on expeditious settlement of pending cases, simplification procedures and improved inter-agency coordination to ensure timely delivery of pensionary benefits. 

The dignitaries reiterated the importance of such events in strengthening outreach to veterans and ensuring prompt grievance redressal. They appreciated collaborative efforts of all participating organisation and stakeholders actively involved in pension disbursement and grievance resolution, whose collective contributions were instrumental in making the event a success. 

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the collective commitment towards the welfare of Armed Forces pensioners and continuous improvement in the grievance redressal mechanism.
