The Press Information Bureau (PIB) organized a 'Vartalap' program in Rewa today, which focused on the central government’s efforts to improve the lives of the poor through various welfare schemes. Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Public Health and Medical Education, Shri Rajendra Shukla, attended the event as the chief guest. He stated that the Narendra Modi government has made a significant effort to provide easy, simple, and effective healthcare to the poor through the Ayushman Card. He highlighted that this has provided great relief to the common man, who can now easily access world-class health services. He further noted that the Ayushman Arogya Yojana is a unique initiative globally because of the vast scale at which free health services are being provided. He explained that previously, due to poverty, illiteracy, and backwardness, common people could not even dream of treatment in large hospitals, but now, they no longer have to worry about expensive medical bills. He urged that it should be our effort to spread information about this scheme through media and personal efforts so that the maximum number of people can benefit and make the central government's efforts a success.

Regional Member of Parliament, Shri Janardan Mishra, was also present at the program. He said that the central government has made the 'VB Ramji' program (likely referring to Ayushman/related welfare programs mentioned in the context) more effective and transparent by removing certain discrepancies, allowing a large number of common people to benefit. He mentioned that the government has brought important changes to the law to make it more transparent. Shri Mishra added that the central government is also making world-class efforts in the energy sector, and by becoming self-reliant in energy needs, we will soon fulfill the dream of 'Viksit Bharat @2047'. Senior officials from various departments and offices were also present at the event.

Dr. Satyendra Dehariya, In-charge of the Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism, Rewa Campus, said that whether it is the 'VB Ramji' program or the Ayushman Arogya Yojana, these important steps by the central government are playing a huge role in achieving the milestone of 'Viksit Bharat @2047'. He said the best part is that due to government efforts and the positive role of the media, a large number of people are coming forward to take advantage of these schemes.

Dr. Mukesh Yangle and Assistant Professor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi Journalism University, Shri Jayaram Shukla, also expressed their views during the occasion. In their address, they said that by making a slight change in our thinking and behavior, we can bring better changes to society; therefore, along with government efforts, we also need to make our own efforts.

The program was inaugurated before the 'Vartalap' session by lighting a lamp by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, MP Shri Janardan Mishra, and PIB Bhopal Director Shri Manish Gautam, along with other dignitaries. In his welcome address, Shri Manish Gautam said that as an important wing of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Press Information Bureau is playing an effective role in society and the media. He mentioned that PIB is working to connect the public with the central government's important schemes and programs through the media, and in this sequence, such programs are being organized in various regions and districts of Madhya Pradesh. He also highlighted the initiatives taken by the central government for the financial assistance of journalists. The program was conducted by PIB Bhopal's Assistant Director, Shri Ajay Upadhyay.

After the inaugural session, a technical session was organized. In the technical session, former minister Shri Pushpraj Singh explained in detail about the efforts to preserve and groom the tourist and historical places of Madhya Pradesh and the country through 'Heritage to Development'. He said that this effort is not only to promote tourism but also an attempt to preserve our country's culture and our history. The technical session was conducted by Assistant Publicity Officer of the Central Bureau of Communication, Rewa, Shri Mukesh Mandal. In the program, many media representatives from Rewa's media fraternity, including Shri Dharmendra Pandey, Shri Pradeep Gautam, and Shri Kanishk Tiwari, also expressed their views.
