The Department of Posts, Goa Division, has launched a focused initiative to encourage customers to adopt digital modes of payment while availing postal services across all Post Offices in Goa. The initiative aims to promote Digital India and provide faster, safer and more convenient services to the public.
Customers are encouraged to make payments through UPI, QR Codes, Debit/Credit Cards (POS) and other digital options for services such as Speed Post, Registered Post and Parcel booking. Digital payments reduce waiting time, provide instant transaction confirmation, eliminate the need to carry cash and ensure secure and transparent transactions.
All Postmasters and counter officials have been instructed to assist customers in adopting digital payment methods across the State.
The Department of Posts remains committed to delivering efficient, secure and technology-driven postal services to the people of Goa.
