Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah receives dividend cheque of Rs.22.90 crore from REPCO Bank

Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah received dividend cheque of 22.90 crore towards dividend @ 30%, on the share capital of 76.32 crore held by Government of India for the Financial Year 2025-26 from REPCO Bank in New Delhi today. Shri Amit Shah received the cheque from Shri E. Santhanam, Chairman, Shri C. Thangaraju, Director – Repco Bank & Chairman of Repco Home Finance Ltd., and Shri O.M. Gokul, Managing Director. 

In a post on X platform, Shri Amit Shah said that “Congratulations to the Repco Bank management for setting an example in cooperative banking by securing a net profit of ₹169 crore in the financial year 2025–26, the highest in the bank's history. Today, on behalf of the Ministry of Home Affairs, received a dividend cheque of ₹22.90 crore from a delegation of Repco Bank, comprising Chairman Shri E. Santhanam, Director Shri Thangaraju, and Managing Director Shri O.M. Gokul. The success of the bank under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Home Affairs is a testament to its professionalism and excellence My best wishes to the management and staff of Repco Bank.”

Union Home Secretary Shri Govind Mohan, Secretary (Border Management and FFR) Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Joint Secretary (FFR Division) Shri Gaya Prasad and Joint Secretary (RHS) Shri Makkhan Lal Meena were present on the occasion.

The Bank posted a Net Profit of Rs.169 crore during the FY 2025-26, being the highest in the history of the REPCO Bank.  The Bank is continuously making profit and paying dividend to the stake holders for more than three decades. The Bank has crossed Rs.26000 crore Business Mix as on 30.06.2026.
