The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Amravati Campus, will conduct a Spot (Walk-in) Admission process for vacant seats in its Post Graduate Diploma programmes in English and Marathi Journalism for the academic session 2026-27 on August 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM onwards. Admissions will be offered on the basis of merit, subject to availability of seats and the prescribed reservation policy.

Candidates who have secured merit in the CUET (PG) 2026 examination under the subject Mass Communication and Journalism (COQP17) will be considered for admission according to their merit ranking.

Eligible candidates who could not appear for CUET (PG) 2026, but have secured at least 50 per cent marks in their Bachelor's degree in any discipline, may also participate in the Spot Admission process. Such candidates will be required to appear for a written entrance test on August 13. Admissions will be granted to candidates qualifying the written test on the basis of merit and the applicable reservation norms.

The upper age limit for admission is 25 years for Unreserved category candidates, 28 years for OBC candidates, and 30 years for SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates.

Interested candidates should report to the IIMC Amravati Campus at 10:00 AM on August 13, 2026, along with all original educational certificates, self-attested photocopies, passport-size photographs and other required documents.
