The Awareness Program on “Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace” was organized by Internal Complaints Committee (under POSH act) of CVRDE on 07th August 2026 at Arjun Auditorium, The Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Avadi, near Chennai. Ms. K Rameetha, Outstanding scientist & Programme Director of Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi was the chief guest & Smt. Reshmi Christy, Advocate from Madras High Court was the guest of honour for Awareness Program. The function was also graced with the eminent presence of Shri. J. Rajesh Kumar, Director, CVRDE, Dr V.Balamurugan, Program Director (AFV) and other Senior officials. 

  

During her address, the chief guest encouraged the women fraternity to utilize the opportunity by contributing to the nation by delivering indigenous products, apart from their leading role in family. The guest of honour delivered an insightful update on workplace safety, prevention of sexual harassment, employees rights and responsibilities of Internal Complaints committee. 

  

During this occasion, Shri. J. Rajesh Kumar, Director, CVRDE honoured the outstanding performances and the event concluded with vote of thanks.
