From Financial Constraints to Technical Aspirations: How Scholarship Support Helped Yarra Mahesh Pursue His B.Tech Education

Higher education can open new pathways for young people to build meaningful careers and contribute to the development of the nation. However, financial constraints can often make it difficult for students to meet the costs associated with quality education, academic resources and skill development.
Demonstrating the impact of educational financial assistance, Yarra Mahesh, a 21-year-old B.Tech 2nd-year student from the Gen-EWS category, has been able to pursue his education with greater confidence and focus with scholarship support of ₹52,540/- provided in 2025.
The scholarship support helped address several educational and living expenses, including college fees, hostel expenses, food charges, travel expenses, study materials, internet and academic resources, registration costs and other miscellaneous educational needs. The assistance reduced the financial burden on his family and enabled Mahesh to concentrate more effectively on academics and skill development.
Despite the financial challenges associated with pursuing higher education, Mahesh remained determined to strengthen his technical capabilities and build a successful career in the technology field. His academic journey has also provided him opportunities to gain practical exposure and explore emerging areas of technology.

Reducing Financial Burden and Strengthening Technical Aspirations
Scholarship assistance of ₹52,540/- was provided to Yarra Mahesh in 2025. The support helped meet important educational and living expenses and significantly reduced the financial pressure associated with his studies.
The scholarship also enabled Mahesh to purchase a laptop, which became an essential resource for his academics, programming, project work, skill development and online learning. Access to this resource helped him make better use of digital learning opportunities and continue developing his technical skills.
During his 2nd-year internship, Mahesh worked on a research paper on Skin Cancer Classification using Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning techniques. The research work has been completed and is currently under the publication process. This experience enhanced his research knowledge and practical skills in the application of AI and Machine Learning in healthcare technology.
With the support received, Mahesh has been able to focus better on academics while continuously improving his skills in programming, software development and emerging technologies. The assistance has motivated him to pursue higher goals with confidence and work towards building a successful career in the technology field.
The journey of Yarra Mahesh illustrates how timely educational support can help students overcome financial barriers and pursue their academic and career aspirations. By supporting essential educational and living expenses and providing access to crucial learning resources, the scholarship has helped him strengthen his academic foundation, develop technical skills and prepare for a promising future in technology.
