Central Government Organisations across Goa Join ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign with Patriotic Activities

Central Government organisations and establishments across Goa have joined the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign with enthusiasm as part of the celebrations for the 80th Independence Day and the commemoration of 150 years of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’. Various patriotic activities, competitions, cultural programmes and initiatives centred around the Tricolour are being organised to promote patriotism, national unity and pride in the National Flag.
The National Institute of Water Sports–Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (NIWS–IITTM), Goa, is organising various activities under the campaign. These include the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ and the National Anthem, Rangoli Making, Reel Making and Nukkad Natak based on themes of patriotism and national unity. Students, faculty and staff are also participating enthusiastically in the ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ initiative.
The Mormugao Port Authority organised an Elocution Competition on August 11 as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and the commemoration of 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’. Officials participated in the competition and shared their views on the significance of the national song, citizens’ duties and the importance of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
Doordarshan Goa is also participating in the campaign by broadcasting special programmes from August 9 to 15. These include a special interview on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ and ‘Vande Mataram’, along with patriotic songs performed by students of Lokmanya High School, Ponda, and Swami Vivekanand Higher Secondary School, Borim.
The Goa International Airport, Dabolim, has also joined the campaign by putting up attractive patriotic displays and creatives across its terminal building as part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations. The displays have added to the festive atmosphere and highlighted the significance of the National Flag.
The Press Information Bureau and Central Bureau of Communication, Goa, also observed the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign at their offices. Officers and staff enthusiastically participated in the ‘Selfie with Tiranga’ initiative. They also uploaded the lyrics of ‘Vande Mataram’ on the official ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ portal and registered their participation in the campaign.
The enthusiastic participation of Central Government organisations and establishments across Goa reflects the spirit of patriotism and national unity, while further strengthening the sense of pride and respect for the Tricolour during the Independence Day celebrations.
