Commemorating the 150th year of Vande Mataram and as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign," a grand Tiranga Yatra was carried out by the Indian Statistical Service (ISS) 2026 Batch Officer Trainees and officers/staff of National Statistical Systems Training Academy (NSSTA), Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, MoSPI with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.

The event commenced with the recitation of the full version of Vande Mataram. While flagging off the Tiranga Yatra, Shri R. Rajesh serving as the Additional Director General emphasized that the spirit of Vande Mataram can be truly embodied and tribute paid to our freedom fighters through the diligent performance of our official duties for long hours as a dedication to Bharat Mata.

The Tiranga Yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from all officers, contractual staff, and other personnel of NSSTA, who joined the procession, with patriotic slogans of “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” echoing throughout. The event concluded with the recitation of the National Anthem.
