The Indian Institute of Management Raipur has opened applications for the second batch of its Business Accelerator Programme, being conducted in collaboration with the National SC/ST Hub under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. Applications for the programme are open till September 14, 2026, while the six-day programme is scheduled to commence on October 5, 2026.

The programme is designed for existing Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs who are wards of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs. It seeks to help participants strengthen their business models, improve operational processes and build capabilities for sustainable and scalable growth.

Under the guidance of Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director-in-Charge, Indian Institute of Management Raipur; Prof. Satyasiba Das, Dean, External Relations; and Prof. J. Daniel Inbaraj, Assistant Professor in the Marketing area, the programme provides a structured platform focused on strengthening managerial capabilities, strategic thinking and the readiness required to scale enterprises.

The programme will focus on areas including market understanding and analysis, disciplined financial planning, effective pricing, adoption of relevant digital and artificial intelligence tools, government schemes and funding opportunities, as well as documentation and compliance requirements relevant to larger institutional buyers. It will also provide participants with opportunities to explore new markets, leverage technology and develop strategies for scalable business growth.

Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director-in-Charge, Indian Institute of Management Raipur, said the programme seeks to bridge the gap between entrepreneurship and the structured managerial capabilities required to scale businesses. He said the initiative combines academic rigour, personalised mentoring and practical application, with a focus on execution and inclusive entrepreneurship.

Prof. Satyasiba Das, Dean, External Relations, Indian Institute of Management Raipur, said the programme is designed to translate learning into practical business decisions. Interaction with faculty members, industry mentors, peers and ecosystem partners will enable participants to develop an execution roadmap tailored to their respective enterprises, he added.

The programme will include six days of campus-based learning at Indian Institute of Management Raipur, followed by one-on-one mentoring and a 90-to-180-day business-specific roadmap. The programme's outcomes are aimed at improving strategic clarity, market analysis, familiarity with artificial intelligence and digital tools, and access to government schemes and funding channels.

The Business Accelerator Programme is intended to provide participants with practical managerial capabilities and greater confidence in strategic planning, financial decision-making, market analysis, digital and artificial intelligence tools, government support schemes and funding opportunities.
