The Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD), under the Digital India Corporation (DIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), enabled real-time English-to-Telugu transcription and translation through Shrutlekh during the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Suzlon Wind Power Projects and Inauguration of New Blade Production Lines in Anantapuramu, Andhra Pradesh.
The deployment supported the address delivered by Shri Nara Lokesh Garu, Hon’ble Minister for HRD, ITE&C and RTG, Government of Andhra Pradesh, enabling his spoken English to be transcribed and translated into Telugu in real time. This enabled Telugu-speaking audiences to access the address as it was being delivered, demonstrating the potential of BHASHINI’s Language AI for live multilingual communication.
BHASHINI’s Shrutlekh also supported the addresses delivered by Shri Kalava Srinivasulu, Hon’ble Member of the Legislative Assembly, Rayadurg Assembly Constituency; Shri Ambica G. Lakshminarayana Valmiki, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Anantapur Parliamentary Constituency; Shri Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Hon’ble Minister for Energy, Government of Andhra Pradesh; and Mr. Girish Tanti, Co-Founder & Vice Chairman, Suzlon.
The deployment demonstrates the ability of BHASHINI’s Language AI technology to process spoken language in a live setting and provide real-time multilingual access, enabling audiences to follow important public and institutional communication in the language they understand.

Shrutlekh brings speech-to-text and multilingual translation together to enable real-time access to spoken content. Its deployment at the event showcases how BHASHINI’s voice-first Language AI capabilities can support live multilingual communication in real-world settings, making spoken content more accessible without language becoming a barrier.
Through such deployments, BHASHINI continues to demonstrate how Language AI can enable inclusive, real-time and multilingual access to public communication, bringing India’s language technology closer to citizens and audiences across diverse linguistic communities.
