Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol attends Khelo India Dialogue in Pune

A vibrant Khelo India Dialogue was organised by MY Bharat at Ajinkya DY Patil University, Pune, bringing together students, young sports enthusiasts and eminent sportspersons to promote sports, fitness, youth participation and nation-building.

A key highlight of the programme was the virtual interaction of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi with youth. The Prime Minister interacted with young participants and shared his vision of an energetic, fit and empowered youth force contributing to the building of a Viksit Bharat.

The programme was graced by Shri Muralidhar Mohol, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation & Co-Operation, as the Chief Guest. Renowned sportspersons Ms. Heena Sindhu, Ms. Sharvari Shende and Ms. Rutuja Bhosale participated as Guests of Honour.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Muralidhar Mohol emphasised the importance of sports in building a fit, disciplined, confident and resilient generation of youth. He encouraged students to actively participate in sports and pursue excellence with dedication and perseverance. Sports is the best medium for Nation building, he said.

The distinguished sportspersons shared inspiring experiences from their sporting journeys and interacted with students. They spoke about the importance of discipline, determination, teamwork, perseverance and overcoming challenges in achieving success in sports and life.

The Prime Minister’s virtual interaction provided an inspiring opportunity for the students to connect with the national leadership and reinforced the message that sports play an important role in developing character, leadership, discipline and a healthy lifestyle.

Programme Concludes with Nasha Mukti Pledge

The programme concluded with the Nasha Mukti Pledge, in which students and participants collectively pledged to stay away from drugs and substance abuse and to encourage others to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

The pledge reinforced the message that a drug-free youth is essential for a healthy, strong and developed India. The initiative also complemented the larger objectives of promoting fitness, sports and positive engagement among young people.

The enthusiastic participation of students made the Khelo India Dialogue a memorable and inspiring occasion, reaffirming the commitment of MY Bharat towards empowering youth and encouraging them to contribute positively to nation-building.
