NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, has invited students pursuing Engineering and Management programmes to participate in the Mumbai Regional Round of NTPC Electron Quiz 2026–27, a prestigious national-level quiz competition aimed at promoting knowledge, analytical thinking, curiosity and healthy competition among young minds.

The Mumbai Regional Round of the quiz will be held on September 17, 2026, at Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, Gate No. 4 & 5, 6th Floor, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone, Andheri (East), Mumbai – 400096.

The quiz, themed “Anything and Everything from the World of Business and Management”, will provide students an opportunity to test their knowledge across diverse areas of business and management. Each participating team will comprise two members.

The Mumbai Regional Round will consist of a Written Round, followed by an On-stage Multimedia Regional Finale for the top six teams. The top two teams from the Mumbai Regional Round will qualify for the National Level.

The regional round carries attractive prizes, with ₹60,000 for the winning team, ₹40,000 for the runner-up and ₹20,000 for the third-placed team. Teams securing fourth, fifth and sixth positions will receive ₹8,000 each. Audience prizes will also be awarded to students attending the quiz.

At the National Level, the winning team will receive ₹1,00,000, while the second and third-placed teams will receive ₹60,000 and ₹40,000, respectively. Consolation prizes will also be awarded to other qualifying teams.

Students interested in participating in the Mumbai Regional Round may register through the designated registration link. They may also send their entries to electronquiz2025@ntpc.co.in, mentioning the name, college/institution name, email ID and WhatsApp number of both participants in the team. The last date for registration is September 05, 2026.

There is no registration or participation fee, and institutions may nominate multiple teams. Travel reimbursement for the Regional Round will be restricted to AC 3-Tier train fare, as per applicable norms.

The NTPC Electron Quiz, organised since 2004, is one of NTPC’s flagship initiatives for engaging with the student community and providing a platform for young minds to enhance their knowledge, analytical abilities and competitive spirit.

NTPC encourages Engineering and Management institutions across Mumbai and the surrounding region to circulate the invitation among eligible students and encourage them to participate in the Mumbai Regional Round of NTPC Electron Quiz 2026–27.
